House Rules
Arrival
Saturdays from 3pm. Please let us know your arrival time at least 2 hours in advance, so we can hand you over the keys. Travellers arriving by train are offered to be picked up at the « Unterkulm Nord » train station.
Departure
Handing over of keys and departure no later than 11am on Saturday (or on agreed day of departure). For CHF 50.- extra you can stay until 6 pm – in case no other guests are expected to arrive the same day.
Parking
There is a parking space right in front of the house which can be used by the tenant. No reservation required.
Keys
Without different prior arrangement the keys will be handed over in person at the time of arrival and departure. The tenant will be charged for missing keys.
No Smoking
Strictly no smoking throughout the house. There is a covered space outside smokers can use.
Nighttime
Please keep noise levels down after 10pm. Your neighbours will appreciate your consideration. Parties are not allowed.
Slippers
For protection oft he floors slippers must be worn. No hiking boots must be worn in the appartment.
Bed linen
At the beginning of the rental the beds have been made. In case of bedwetting children a plastic underlay must be used. If you have any problems regarding the bed linen please contact the landlord.
Towels
Enough towels and face cloths are provided per week and person. In case you should need more of them, please contact the landlord.
Furnishings
Furnishings including blankets must not be taken outside. Garden furniture must be put back in the evening. The cushions must be put back into the chest every evening. Damages must be reported to the landlord and will be charged to the tennant depending on the circumstances.
Kitchen
Do not use any scouring or aggressive cleansing agents or scratching objects for cleaning the ceramic hob. Dishes must be left in the cupboard clean and dry. Damages must be reported to the landlord, they will be charged to the tennant.
Refuse
Rubbish must be put into offical bin bags. There is a CHF 2.50 disposal charge for a 35 liter bin bag. (there is a glass for the money in the kitchen press). There is a black container near the car park where the bag can be disposed. Glass, aluminium, cans, paper, cardboard and PET bottles can be recycled in the bin and the boxes in the hallway.
Phone
There is no telephone connection in the appartment.
Internet
There is free WLAN available in the apparment. Outside the WLAN connection is limited, depending on the coverage.
TV
Swisscom TV is available - offering many channels. In case you would like to watch a pay-TV-movie, prices will be indicated on the sreen. Please contact the landlord to arrange the way of payment.
Electric Chimney
IMPORTANT: Needs to be switched off as soon as you go to sleep or leave the house. Must NEVER be left unatended – fire hazard ! If you feel too cold, please contact the landlord.
Whirlpool
The use of the whirlpool is permitted from 8am until 10pm. Children are not allowed to stay in the pool without supervision of adults (risk of drowning). Leave the pool at 10 pm, cleaning program starts at 10.10 pm. !!!
Final cleaning
The appartment must be left tidy. All the food you don’t want to take with you must be left on the bar or in the fridge. The appartment will be cleaned by a professional cleaner (for CHF 75. -) and the tennant will be charged for it according to the rental contract. If the appatment is not left tidy or the dishes are not wahsed, the tennnant will be charged extra by the landlord.
Payment
The amount oft the arrangement must be payed cash after arrival. Credit card payment (VISA, Master Card, Maestro) is possible with an extra-charge of 2.5%.
Miscellaneous
When you leave the appartment make sure all windows are closed, lights are switched off and the door is locked by key.
